My wife and I are really impressed with this 30-piece set of clear votive candle holders. At about $1.00 per piece ($29.99 for the set), the value for the money is excellent, especially considering the quality of the glass.Build & Design:The glass is thick and feels durable, not thin or fragile. While the product description mentions a “vintage” style, we personally felt the polka dot pattern gave them a more clean, textured look rather than a strictly vintage vibe. When lit, the “starry” light effect through the dots is quite mesmerizing and creates a great atmosphere.Size & Versatility:They are the perfect size (approx. 2.16″w x 1.37″h) for standard tea lights or LED candles. However, we’ve found they have “unlimited versatility” beyond just lighting. We are using some for candles, but they also work perfectly as small organizers for my wife’s sewing notions. Their weighted bottoms keep them from tipping over, which is a big plus.Packaging:I was worried about breakage during shipping, but the packaging was meticulous. Each holder was individually wrapped in its own bubble pouch inside a heavy-duty cardboard box. Beautiful Tealight Holders (NOT for Votive Candles)
I bought these for use with LED tealight candles at my teen’s prom. The gold shine of the glass is appealing; my photo doesn’t do them justice–they really do have a golden glow about them. The miniature hobnail texture gives them versatile style and hides the seam pretty well (though you can still see them easily if you are looking for it). These would look good in many settings, easily going casual or elegant. I don’t know how these will wear over time, but they feel sturdy and I assume they will wear well as long as you aren’t putting them in the dishwasher (I don’t see any reason for them to need washing in general, since LED tealights are clean, and wax tealights are in their own little cup to contain the mess). Each of the 30 tea light holders is bubble wrapped individually so there was no breakage. These are a good value at under $30 for the box; they look more high end than that.
