Good purchase, works well in my reading space
I love this lamp. This lamp is perfect for my reading nook that I have created. It was easy to put together and has not had any structural issues. I like the sleek look of it. I have it positioned behind my reaching lounge so it shines down on me. I love the dimming function as I usually read at night and like a very soft light. You can also angle the lamp to cast your light wherever suits you best. Overall, it was just what I was hoping for.

Great versatile lamp for living space
I want so badly to give these a five star review but I had to take one star off because of the placement of the switch.First off all, these floor lamps fit the decor seamlessly. I feel they are versatile enough to fit many kinds of decor. I purchased two lamps to place in my living room. One is by my recliner and the other by my couch. They fit the small space well, blend in nicely and this way I don’t have lamps on my coffee tables taking up space.The dimmer switches work well, and I love the capability to dim the lighting to a desired effect. But the switches- the switches on the lamps are so high up! Biggest complaint I’ve had with these (and a I’ve had them about 4 months) is how high the switches are. Because usually, when you want to dim or turn these off, you’re sitting down, not standing up.These are actually pretty sturdy if you’re wondering, too! They don’t easily tip although maybe a couple of times we’ve had them tip trying to reach those switches!Overall- I would recommend these. Great value for the kind of lamp you get. They fit into many types of decor and are a nice, solid lamp for the living space.

Easy as Toy Works With Joy
Easy, straight forward, and the assembly was easy as toy. No tools required!My lamp burned out so I had to get another. I chose this floor lamp as it was fast, easy, and price economical. It was simply ghostly without a lamp except for the lights from the nearby kitchen, so I had to get a replacement as quick as possible. I ordered the lamp online on Amazon as it was economical to buy on short notice in comparison to other lamps. I chose a few others to compare and I remembered I done this before.But this time was a different experience where in the meantime I bought this less pricey version and wait for another time for a more refined, pricier choice. The prior lamp had an immense body as it was way too big and too outdated for a purchase as it wasn’t available to even consider. It was made in the early ’90s and to have another was way too conservative, too stayed in the times where I chose to move on to current versions the market currently has to offer.They are well efficient, up to date, sized down in body and style that wow! I couldn’t believe the lamps they had. One small table lamp can light up the room.I finally bought this one as it is straight forward on how efficient it seemed to work. A major feature it has is the dimmer. It is a rotating dimmer style knob which is intuitive to use and inviting to have. It requires a light bulb for dimming which came with the package and it glows in a warm LED light, equivalent to a 60 watt hour bulb versus a 100 watt bulb where its resonance or warmth is equivalent to full daylight. It’s too bright. I do have in mind to buy a small table lamp near where I sit, across from the lamp just purchased.I think they had two other color choices. I didn’t really make any choice, except that black seems to go with anything.The assembly was a snap very easy and very seamless faster than putting together a new toy as we may remember in an earlier period in life with no tools required. But it does come with a “mock” wrench that I had no use for.The lamp was up and running in no time with hideous left over packaging to throw out the moment after I turned on the light just short of its full turn on the nob. I felt almost an instant relief as I remembered before I purchased this same lamp a few years back and I didn’t really like it, sticking to my old fashioned likes of a bigger, fatter lamp. They don’t make those anymore!I’m glad I changed, making this buyer satisfied with an almost, a smile.I highly recommend this lamp. I mean, I can get another fancier lamp next time. But not too soon!The dimmer feature may be relieved knowing it is to be nearly a full turn on the knob, just short of a full turn to clear any ideas of the meaning of the flicking from the bulb. I think that’s really important for me to remember, always. I can’t use a light bulb that cannot dim!
