Great for humid weather
I recently picked up this set of two glass containers with cork lids, and they have been a total game-changer for my dorm storage. They are thin but stay airtight. great value for moneyI primarily use them to store nuts, which are notorious for losing their crunch and getting soft or stale when exposed to even a little bit of moisture. Living in a more humid environment, I’ve struggled to find a seal that actually works, but these do the trick perfectly.

Really cute. Really fragile.
These jars came packaged super well, but the glass is extremely thin and fragile. It’s a good thing I bought them to use for my moss balls and I didn’t plan on using these jars for anything that required more durability, because these jars wouldn’t have withstood any pressure. I feel like if I squeeze the glass with just an ounce of force, they’ll shatter all over the place. The corks are thick and pretty.

Fantastic for water propagation of plants!
I bought these for propagating houseplants in leca and perlite, and they work fabulously for that purpose! If you have a super fine-tooth hole saw, I suppose you could bore a hole through the center and then cut them in half as is typically done with water-propped plants, but it’s an unnecessary step if you plant’s stems are stout enough to stand on their own.Stout, sturdy, not prone to tipping over, nice clear glass with no distortions, bubbles or flaws. I’m quite happy with these cute little jars!
